New Years Resolutions Questionaire
by Nicole Yu
Kylie Rondpre, Grade 9: Oh. I will give more to the needy; I will help raise awareness [for] poverty, not only other countries, but also our own; I will reduce waste; I will gain super powers and save the helpless; I will show my appreciation for others, [and] I will accept what comes to me.
Nicole: That’s great!
Kylie: I will also read to old people, hahaha.
Allison Ferreira, Grade 8: In 2009, I will… hm… I will try to volunteer in the community more!
Lucas Chan, Grade 8: Um, um… I can’t decide… IT’S SO HARD… I guess I don’t really have one?
Nicole: Something nice and thoughtful, like giving to the poor?
Lucas: Well, I always do my homework and I’m nice to my family…
Nicole: Maybe you want to try harder on your homework and be nicer to your family!
Lucas: Um… Okay, I want to help out others more.
Mrs. Burdett: My new year’s resolution is to do at least one nice thing for a stranger every day.
Christina Calaban, Grade 9: My new year’s resolution is to speak more in class this year, and to read more books.
Now for our writers…
Kaitlyn Fung, Grade 8: I’m going to try to get people to not push each other around so much, it’s really disruptive…
Valerie Wong, Grade 10: To eat healthy.
Nikki Siu, Grade 11: To at least get 5 hours of sleep everyday. (Man that’s going to be a hard one.) Another one would be to stay healthy – yes, that means working out and running, plus joining sports.
Eric Lam, Grade 9: Oh. Start exercising more and learn more and include more people in things (I dont want to exclude people).
Cheryl Loh, Grade 12: To come up with a New Year’s resolution.
Jenny Ho, Grade 9: To save and spend my hard earned cash wisely!
Christopher Ly, Grade 8: My new years resolution is probably to do better in school! Oh yea… to finish all the books by the end of the year that Mr. Jackson gave us :)
Tanya Grace, Grade 10?: I’ve none, because I find that the second week subsequent to making any New Year’s Resolution I completely forget about it. =]
Cassandra Ly, Grade 10: I dont have one right at the moment, I make goals for myself as I go. =)
Kevin Hipolito, Grade 11: Improve my language skills.
Mitchell Agostinho, Grade 11: Do homework.
Emily Chan, Grade 10: Well, my life is going pretty good right now, so no resolutions are needed. : )
That’s my old resolution. My new one is to fly a commercial jet. all i need now is a plane load of people whos resolution is to die tragicly.

.______. Is someone impersonating me? I’ve seen a couple of comments made by that person under my name. If you’re reading this, ‘Nicole Yu’, please stop, because it’s seriously freaking me out.
Um… thanks? D:
